Kanchenjunga base camp covers the eastern part of Nepal. Kanchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world with 8586m height and is also known as five treasures of the great snow.
It is situated in the north east of Nepal and is bordered by Sikkim, India. Mountain partly lays In Nepal and India we can see the view of Bhutan India and Tibet as well.
Kanchenjunga base camp passes through arun valley which is renowned as the most beautiful region for trekking in Nepal. Kanchenjunga base camp’s most important place is Kanchenjunga conservation area which is 2035 sq.km in area and reserves various wildlife like musk deer , black beer, snow leopards, red panda and so on. During this trek, trekkers will get to see breathe taking view of mountains like Mt.everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse and many more.
As we know Nepal is richest country for traditions and cultures we will always get to know different tradition and cultures in every region .Kanchenjunga is full of mixed community where Gurung, Sherpa, Rai & Limbu are mostly found .It will be a great privilege to know about different tradition at once. Day 01: Your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport(TIA)and you will be meet
our airport representative then transfer to hotel. We will discuss the trekking plan
and last minute arrangements.
Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Suketar (1,824m) trek to Mitlung (1,968m). Walk
approximately 4 hours ( if flight cancel due to bad weather , We will take the flight to
Biratnagar then by take the jeep drive to Suketar in same day) .
Day 03: Trek from Mitlung to Chhiruwa (1,270m).Walking6 hours, Overnight at
Day 04: Trek from Chhiruwa to Sekathum (1,630m).Walking 5 hours, Overnight at
Day 05: Trek from Sekathum to Amjilessa (2490m) Walking 6 hours, Overnight at
Day 06: Trek from Amjilessa to Gyabla (2,730m) Wakling 6 hours, Overnight at
Day 07: Trek from Gyabla to Ghunsa (3,595m) Walking 6 hours, Overnight at
Day 08: Acclimatization Day at Ghunsa.
Day 09: Trek from Ghunsa to Khangpachen ( 4,050m) Walking 7 hours, Overnight
Day 10: Trek from Khangpachen to Lhonak (4,780m) Walking 7 hours, Overnight at
Day 11: Trek from Lhonak to Kanchenjunga Base Camp (5,143m) Walking7 hours,
Overnight in Kanchenjunga Base Camp.
Day 12: Trek from Kanchenjunga Base Camp to Ghunsa (3,595m) Walking 8
hours, overnight at Lodge.
Day 13: Trek from Ghunsa to Amjilessa (2,308m.Walking 5 hours, overnight at
Day 14: Trek from Amjilessa to Chirwa (1,270m). Walking 8 hours overnight at
Day 15: Trek from Chirwa to Suketar (1824m)Walking 8 hours, overnight at Lodge.
Day 16: Morning flight from Suketar to Kathmandu, Overnight hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 17: Transfer to international airport for your final flight departure.
-Airport Pick up and drop off service by Private car/van
-2 nights' accommodation with breakfast hotel in Kathmandu.
-Three times food in a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) .
-Lodge to lodge and Tented accommodation during the trekking.
-One well experienced, helpful and friendly Guide, porters (1 porter between 2
people), their food, accommodation, salary, and insurance.
-Trekkers Information Management System (TIMS).
-Flight fare from Kathmandu to Suketar /Kathmandu.
