Trip Introduction


Upper Dolpo lies in the Dolpa district of far western Nepal. This district is like a hidden treasure for nature lovers as well adventure lover . If you really want to see the beauty of nature these would be the finest place ‘heaven is here’ .  As this was one of the restricted area and got permitted after 1989 only beauty and charm of this place has mesmerized the trekkers; you would never get over of it . As well as, Shey phoksundo national park also lies here and we will pass through Phoksundo River and different animals habitants including snow leopard . Won’t you love to see such endangered animals ?

Best time to visit this region would be during spring and autumn. The maximum elevation of this region is  5151 and obviously it will be so challenging because of remoteness  but the breathtaking scenario will release all your stress and not only the views; this region is full of different culture & traditions mixture of everything . Different medicinal herbs are also found in there. As it is one of the remote areas of Himalayas, transportation are not in excess number but the more difficulties you face, more beauty you will get to see : history of Nepal, old monasteries in the country and tons of attraction. You won't regret being here.

Day 01:  Your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport(TIA) and you will be
meet our airport representative then transfer to hotel. We will discuss the trekking
plan and last minute arrangements.

Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj (150m): 1 hour flight, Overnight at Lodge.

Day 03: Fly from Nepalgunj to Juphal (2475m) 35 minutes flight, Overnight at

Day 04: Trek from Juphal to Chhepka - (2838m). Walking 6 hours.

Day 05: Trek from Chhepka to Palam (3820m) Walking 6 hours.

Day 06: Trek from Palam to Phoksundo Lake (3,611m). Walking 4. hours.

Day 07: Acclimatization and rest at Phoksundo Lake.

Day 08: Trek from Phoksundo lake to Salla Ghari (3640m) Walking 6 hours.

Day 09: Trek from Salla Ghari to Lar Tsa (4120m) Walking 6 hours.

Day 10: Trek from Lar Tsa to Shey Gompa (4,500m) Via King-La Pass (5,360m).
Walking 7 hours.

Day 11: Acclimatization and rest at Shey Gompa.

Day 12: Trek from Shey Gompa to Namduna Gaon (4,800m) Via Saldang La
(5,200m). Walking7 hours, overnight in Namduna gaon.

Day 13: Trek from Namduna Gaon to Saldang (4,046m) Walking 4 hours.

Day14: Trek from Saldang to Yangze Gompa (4,960m) Walking 5 hours, overnight
in Yangze Gompa.

Day 15: Trek from Yangze Gompa to Sibu (4,560m).walking 6-7 hours, overnight at

Day 16: Trek from Sibu to Jeng La Phedi (4,900m).walking 5-6 hours, overnight in
Jeng La Phedi.

Day 17: Trek from Jeng La Phedi to Takyu Gaon (4,209m). via Jeng La Pass
(5,090m).walking 5-6 hours, we camp close to the monastery at Tokyu..

Day 18: Trek from Tokyu to Dho Tarap (4,240m). Walking 4 hours, overnight at Dho

Day 19: Trek from Dho Tarap to Serkam(3,623m) Walking 7 hours.

Day 20: Trek from Serkam to Tarakot (2,480m).walking 7 hours.

Day 21: Trek from Tarakot to Dunai (2,140m).Walking 6 hours, overnight at Lodge.

Day 22: Trek from Dunai To Jhuphal: Walking 2 hours, overnight at Lodge.

Day 23: Fly from Jhuphal to Nepalgunj and then to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 24: Transfer to international airport for your final flight departure.

Price Includes
-Airport Pick up and drop off service by Private car/van
-2 nights' accommodation with breakfast hotel in Kathmandu.
